A Justifiable Absence!
Hello hello, people!
It's not an easy task to manage commissions and parallel projects at the same time, and this get even tougher when Real Life decides to not cooperate.
I'm not sure if you people missed me, but last week I was forced absent in both my galleries and in my project.
I'm responsible for Nina, an 11 year old mutt I decided to adopt since she was a Pup. As aging came, she reached a difficult stage.
Last week she was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease, which affected several organs, from her liver to her skin.

Choices had to be made.
When I started my Patreon project, I wanted to direct the new income to a new PC, as the one I'm currently working is 6 years old. Now, it feels like I'll have to use it for her treatment. (Which last month cost $300, and after the symptoms are controlled, it will cost me extra $100/month till the end of her life)
So, I'm not asking for pledges/donations to help her out, nothing like that.
I'm in a fairly comfortable financial situation, but if some extra bucks don't drop by soon, I will have to take some money from my savings, which I'm aware it's a privilege to have nowdays.
You don't need to support my Patreon if you don't like dinos, but remember I'm always open for more commissions, so consider about taking a quickie one!
I can make Portraits/Linearts/Flats swiftly, and they're quite cheap.
I'm not into donations, I'm into getting more work!

Now, there's this news circulating about DA users making money with AI generated images, and DA proudly announcing it. So, they went full AI, and I'm out. Slowly Leaving DA and where to find me
As some of you may know, last month I was wrongly suspended from DeviantArt as they admitted, but when I was brought back I lost over 6000 followers, which ruined my commission business here. As much as you showed kindness, and someone even gave me one-month subscription to help me recover, I don't think it will help. It took me seventeen years and six daily deviations to get there, when DA was less flooded. I'm really sorry. For now, I will not delete my account, it may take a while for me to decide what to do, but I won't be updating it as well. Hello there, my dear followers! So, in the last Journal I told you about my situation on DeviantArt: https://www.deviantart.com/striderden/journal/Denouncing-DeviantArt-1012180670 One of the worst things was (and it seems intentional) that I was cut off from the people I used to follow. So I have no clue if these suspensions were epidemic and reoccurring. As I had no replies so far, I started to google for some similar cases, and I found a similar case from 2020, and the person could not recover its account. A person with 4k followers was wrongly banned and had the followers erased. Very shameful for a platform the size of DeviantArt. So, when things go bad, we start to get suspicious and conspiratory, and I started to elaborate some theories. Here in my country where private companies are very corrupt, there is a typical maneuver. Denouncing DeviantArt
Hello, people! In the last two weeks I've been going through a very very bad situation I did my best to solve quietly, but as things got worse, I feel totally cornered and in need of help. Or at least, if the issue can't be solved, expose how unreliable the platform have become and make people aware of where they're getting into if they still decide to put your Art in their responsibility. So, I've had my account with them ( https://www.deviantart.com/striderden ) for SEVENTEEN years. I followed hundreds of people and was followed by over 6500 Watchers. AND I'm a Commission Artist, it took this time to have this curated and build a career from it. If you're another Artist you know how hard it is to have a platform with a high number of followers, and how important this number is to your business. On January 10th, totally out of the blue I had my account suspended and the charge was "spammer". I was pretty sure it was a mistake and contacted their staff through a ticket, and a couple

Quick question: Do you sell bases? Or maybe upload some (not all) of your patreon resources for dA points. Obviously since dA points to cash has a 2 week waiting period it might be a a bit inefficient, but as it seems like Nina's health is a long term issue, it might prove to be worth it. I'm underage, so you probably don't want me sending by paypal, however for some reason I always have a couple hundred points hanging around. I've been meaning to do a quick reference for one of my characters, but I've been having a hard time finding a human base that is not overly chibi, or overly sexualized (I imagine my character to be fairly muscular)
